Description
This is a Painted Turtle carving I have done as part of the habitat for my upcoming Walleye carving. It is approx 6 in long, and is made of Tupelo. The claws were actually tips from round toothpicks that were attached with epoxy. It has been sealed, but needs to be painted. I used instructions from a carving book, but changed it quite a bit based on photos.

I tried to comment on this yesterday and DA went into maintenance & refused my comment
Nicely carved
I too like it unpainted but I know that doesn't serve your purpose.
